Greetings!
Visual Production Studios and link to web site

Hello from Visual Productions! We have created this newsletter to keep you informed of our activities as well as what's happening in our industry. The latest buzz is on VOD or Video On Demand - the fastest growing phenomenon on the web. Nothing beats demonstrating a process, going on a plant tour, or showing a product line with full sound and motion. It adds credibility, reduces costs and ensures that the information your customers or clients need is clearly understood. Now you can have this incredible resource available to your clients 24 - 7 - by including it on your web site!

Link to Future Happens video
Using VOD technology, the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law has posted a video on YouTube to reach a young demographic. The Law School is looking to increase aboriginal participation in their law school program. To enter university and law school you must have a certain amount of high school credits and a strong ability to read. This video was produced to catch attention and to encourage students in the grade nine level to choose the right courses.

Taking a "rap video" approach, we call the video "Future Happens" because ... future happens! Through advertising, the user obtains a web address to access the video 24 - 7.

Seeing Green Television Commerical and link to video
More traditional projects this fall included creating a 30 second television commercial to support the "Seeing Green" campaign for The Province of Manitoba, and the Bulman Communications Group. The commercial was shot in High Definition in a variety of locations in Manitoba. Scenes include water testing on Lake Winnipeg, a child blowing a pinwheel at the Wind Farm in Lorette, Manitoba and architects viewing plans for the new environmentally friendly Manitoba Hydro Building. The commercial was produced in English and French.

To support CancerCare Manitoba's ongoing commitment to provide public education, prevention and promote early detection, the Manitoba Cervical Screening Program produced an informational video on what happens when you go for a Pap test. To ensure they reached all segments of the population, the video was translated into eleven additional languages.

To ensure that any woman, anywhere, who had access to a computer could watch the video, Cancer Care put each language version on thier web site. This is yet another great expample of the value of VOD (Video On Demand) in an educational setting.

We've been creating live action programming for over 20 years. Now we're creating live action mini web movies. CALL US or email us to discuss how we can help you create a truly "moving" web site.

Sincerely,
